Line Dancing News
For Line Dancing Functions & Workshops Sharon is a Line Dancer herself and therefore, she knows the importance of the music being right for each dance. She does her own backing music exactly like the original that you are used to dancing to. Not only that, she Sings and Line Dances at the same time. Sharon is also a Line Dancing Instructor, and can teach the latest most popular dances at your workshop or function. We can also provide the Sound Equipment, Lighting and DJ for your Workshop or function. Sharon conducts Line Dance classes under the banner of Phoenex Scooters in Leeton, NSW. She has been a professional teacher for many years and caters for all levels from Beginners to Advanced.

Letter to Editor of 'Steppin All Over' Bootscooters Bible as printed end of 2004

Whilst looking for somewhere to go for a night of country music, I came across this ladies name in your Country Music Artists -who's touring near you this month in the last issue of the bible. Sharon was listed in the last issue as appearing at the Ringwood RSL. I remembered seeing her name in the bible and went looking for my past copies. I figured if she had a full page (even at her own cost) she must be worth seeing and hearing so we booked to go on Friday 19th November 2004 for the tiny sum of $10 each. Off we went to the RSL, headed to the Bistro for dinner first and then into the function room. They were expecting to have at least 90 - 100 people there as lots of phone enquiries had been received by John Quinn asking who this Sharon Benjamin woman is. (Got to tell you, we asked the same question. When John told us about Sharon we figured she must be Okay).

8.30 arrived and so did "Showtime". Sharon and her hubby Mark are a total "two person band". As soon as she opened her voice in song we knew that we were in for a really great night with some even greater singing. What can I say about her, she counted the dancing in, she linedanced as she sang and on the breaks she joined us on the dancefloor. Her greatest passion after performing country music is line dancing. Sharon sang the songs that the audience requested and in the breaks played the songs that we asked for. She was just the nicest, most friendly and down to earth lady that we have come across in a long time.

The night came to an end at about 11.40pm and that was only because the management had to have the room cleaned before they locked the doors at midnight. The only disappointing event during the entire evening is that there were only 33 people in the audience. But Sharon didn't mind, her comment was "well I probably wouldn't got to see some woman singing if I didn't know who she was or how good she is".

Let me tell all of the readers of the Bible that this lady is something else! You all need to get behind her with your support and help her to achieve all that she deserves.

THE END

Thanks so much Susie for your kind words, and your support. It is very much appreciated.
